Tissot T-Touch

Another bit of gear with accuracy problems is my Tissot T-Touch Orange touchscreen watch, but it gets a pass ‘cause it’s so bitchin’. This handsome digital timepiece has both analog and digital readouts, as well as packing a barometer, altimeter, chronometer, compass, alarm and thermometer. In addition, it switches between functions by touchscreen. You activate the crystal with the middle button and then touch the function you want to use. The clock arms whip around to point where you’ve just touched and suddenly you find yourself using another not-very-accurate weather instrument.

But it’s awesome for keeping time, and it comes in stainless steel and titanium. All in all a nice little piece of practical bling and a good conversation starter if you’re like me and can’t think of anything better to talk about at parties and such.My geardo guru is a tactical equipment geek and as a result, I’m becoming one myself.
