The bold new comedy, "the potted plant: a housewife's
guide," explores the various levels of marriage and
motherhood through the eyes of Fiona, a woman on the verge. Kim
Shepard's frank dialogue takes Fiona on a journey of self-discovery,
culminating with the realization that the compromises one makes
along the way may actually be the path to freedom.
The daily routine of Fiona's existence is interrupted when she
decides to write a book about her life in make-believe. Mal, her
husband, comes home after a hard day's work to a messy house, a
late dinner, and a couple of wild kids. How does he cope? He works
in his garden. |
